Continuing the tradition started during Latvia's centenary, winter swimmers, patriots, and all interested participants are invited to join the relay swim "Seals Swim 108" on November 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Beberliņi reservoir (on the "Tarzāns" adventure park side).

The relay swim is planned to last 108 minutes, with each minute symbolizing a year of Latvia's independence. From 1:00 PM to 2:48 PM, participants will enter the water one after another.

Similar relay swims celebrating the 108th anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Latvia will take place simultaneously across the country.

Pre-registration is not required, and participation is free. Photos and videos will be taken during the event.

See you in the water!
