On August 26, Cypriot jazz pianist and composer Christos Yerolatsitis will perform at Pegaza Pagalms with his new project, "Christos Yerolatsitis’ Unity."

Joining Christos for this concert are outstanding Cypriot jazz musicians: bassist Cahit Kutrafali, known for his expressive electric bass playing style, and drummer Stelios Xydias, whose performance is characterized by musical sensitivity and an ability to integrate naturally into a wide range of creative projects. The ensemble also features acclaimed Latvian saxophonist, composer, and educator Toms Rudzinskis.

Christos’ artistic foundation is rooted in the post-bop tradition, which he develops through contemporary jazz aesthetics, improvisation, and a distinctly personal musical voice. With this quartet, he combines jazz with groove-oriented elements, creating a unique and expressive sound.

At Pegaza Pagalms, Christos Yerolatsitis’ ensemble will present a program of original compositions written and specially arranged by the pianist for this particular lineup.
