The band “Austrumnieks” is not just a musical collective, but a modern chapel of talent from different corners of Latvia.

Pauls Smiltiņš combines vocal energy with songwriting and guitar playing. Valts Anškens showcases the power of wind instruments while grounding the band’s harmonic core on bass.

Valters Vagotiņš-Vagulis is not only a guitarist but also a mixing engineer, transforming ideas into a living soundscape. Kristaps Diura, a keyboard virtuoso and recording engineer, adds richness and detail to every melody.

Rūdolfs Kolerts, with his drums and percussion, not only drives the rhythm but also colors each composition with unique rhythmic patterns.

Together, they create the original sound of Austrumnieks, brought to life on the album Pinewood Junction.
