Late-night concert of the HAMMOND Organ Festival
This will be a special evening of the HAMMOND Organ Festival — a peaceful, atmospheric concert full of unique sounds and gentle moods. The program "Night in the Sound Garden" will offer a new musical experience, different from the usual jazz style often played on the Hammond organ.
You will hear a blend of Hammond organ with flute, clarinet, an electronic wind instrument, and the rare overtone flute. The music will include both original compositions and sounds created live in the moment.
Performers:
Jana Zariņa – Hammond organ
Agnija Ābrama – flute
Kārlis Catlaks – clarinet, bass clarinet, electronic wind instrument
Madara Pētersone – overtone flute
To fully embrace the essence of Night in the Sound Garden, a deeper presence of darkness is essential. That’s why this concert becomes a late-night event, beginning slightly later than usual — at 8:00 PM. Duration: approximately 60 minutes.
