In the very peak of summer, the Great Amber Concert Hall will reach beyond the glass facade to meet its listeners, the residents and guests of Liepāja, surrounded by nature and fresh air. Thanks to support from the Uniting Foundation and the Development Association of Liepāja Concert Hall Great Amber, all are invited to a musical picnic in the square opposite the main entrance of the Concert Hall.

In this free-of-charge event, attendees will be able to experience beloved chamber ensembles of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, including performances by the Liepāja Horn Quartet, ensemble Sonora Antiqua, the West Coast Trio, the percussion ensemble, and other musical guests, heard from the terrace of the Concert Hall across the entire city.

An hour before the concert, at 6 p.m., cafe Cello will start working in the square, accompanied by background music, offering savory and sweet snacks and refreshments.

On the day of the event, SIA “Lielais Dzintars” will announce the upcoming fall concert program with tickets at special prices at the information center ticket office.

IMPORTANT
In case of bad weather, the concert will be moved indoors, to the Stay-tion open living space on the ground floor of the Concert Hall.

During the event, traffic along Radio iela, between Jēkaba Dubelšteina iela and Jūras iela, will be closed.
