On July 15, the duo ĪSHO will perform at Pegaza Pagalms. The project was formed by singer Emīlija Jermola (LV) and bassist Shona Mélis (SE/FR).

They are united by shared Nordic roots and a common artistic vision. The duo met at the Aalborg Academy of Music, where their collaboration first began.

Emīlija and Shona draw inspiration from artists such as Vega Trails, Svaneborg Kardyb, and Hvalfugl.

Together they create minimalist, experimental music that transforms melancholy into a calm, ambient soundscape — a place where vulnerability and strength meet.

The duo’s music invites listeners into a delicate world filled with genuine emotion, where warm melodies and nuanced sonic textures can be heard. With each piece, ĪSHO explores the power of simplicity and the beauty found in honest self-expression.
