“Duck Saved Jones” is a jazz trio of talented young jazz musicians - pianist Andrius Savchenko, bassist Arturas Duckis anddrummer Dovydas Jonas Šulskis.

Andrius Savcenko is a talented pianist, known for hismastery of jazz and pop music, who has participated in such renowned festivalsas the Trondheim Jazz Festival, Canarias Jazz, Vilnius MAMA Jazz, Vilnius Jazz,Kretinga Jazz.

Arturs Duckis is a phenomenal bass guitarist, active injazz and pop music scenes. He has participated in jazz festivals such asVilnius Mama Jazz, Vilnius Jazz, Kretinga Jazz, Klaipėda Jazz, Elektrėnai Jazzand blues festival.

Dovydas Jonas Sulskis, a great drummer, winner of TamstaDrumday'23, and also demonstrates his skills in festivals such as Vilnius MamaJazz, Vilnius Jazz, Kretinga Jazz, and active in the LDF (Lithuanian Jazz Federation). Music activity paths of these musicians crossed while studying at the jazz department of the LJMTA and performing in Lithuania and in Western Europe with different jazz bands, as a rhythm section.

As the result of their work together, the jazz trio "Duck Saved Jones" started in 2023.

The trio's musical work and activities are a blend of contemporary music, fusing electronica, hip-hop, jazz and urban aesthetics. It is a unique fusion of Lithuanian jazz and modern electronica, where harmony and rhythmic structures reflect the dynamic pulse of the city. The music can be described as an experimental fusion of jazz and electronica, enriched with the energy of dance music and elements of R&B, which give it both subtlety and expressiveness.
