Japanese–Austrian pianist and bandleader Aseo Friesacher is passionately dedicated to composition, developing a unique musical identity that seamlessly blends jazz with influences from world music.

Drawing inspiration from contemporary jazz, classical traditions, and the rich cultural heritage of Japan, India, and the Middle East, the Aseo Friesacher Trio creates captivating music that transcends genre boundaries.

For this special performance, Aseo joins forces with talented Japanese bamboo flute player Kana Fuefuki and Latvian drummer Davids Eglītis, a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague who is currently based in the Netherlands. Davids combines traditional jazz with contemporary pop and rock influences, distinguished by his contrasting, nuanced, and dynamic playing style.

Meanwhile, flautist Kana Fuefuki (born Kanako Matsuo) is known for her mastery of the shinobue and shakuhachi, blending traditional Japanese techniques with jazz improvisation to create a distinctive and original sound. She is an active performer, recording artist, workshop leader, and composer.
