Already this weekend, on July 4, the long-awaited pre-party for the “Summer Sound 2026” festival will take place at the “Red Sun Buffet” beach bar in Liepāja. The event’s special guests will be MAARMAAR and DJ24K. Throughout the evening, visitors can enjoy great music and surprise prizes from the festival’s partners. Admission is free of charge.

MAARMAAR is the solo project of Māra Upmane-Holšteine and one of the most exciting new names on Latvia’s electronic music scene. Her debut album, “Pusmūža krīze” (“Midlife Crisis”), released in June, has already received an enthusiastic response from listeners. The artist will also perform in the “Klubs ++” electronic music area at “Summer Sound 2026”, while pre-party attendees will have the opportunity to experience a taste of the festival atmosphere in advance.

The evening’s rhythm and energy will also be powered by DJ24K, who will keep the party going until late at night and help set the mood for the upcoming festival. During the event, visitors will have the chance to take part in activities and win various prizes from the festival and its partners.

Admission is free. Entry is restricted to persons aged 18 and over.
