Through sound art and listening, the festival explores wind as a dynamic planetary force shaping landscape, weather, and human experience. Liepāja, with its maritime climate, becomes a meeting point for dialogue between art, science, and society.

The symposium is also an introduction for the “Atmospheric waves” exhibition and art programme which will take place next year as a part of Liepaja 2027 European Capital of Culture
