Willow Farm is one of the most enduring and distinctive bands on Latvia’s alternative music map. For more than 30 years, the group has followed its own path—from underground stages to radio airplay—while preserving what matters most: intellectual, honest, and emotionally multilayered music in the Latvian language. This time, Willow Farm invites listeners to a special spring concert at Pegaza Viesistaba.
From the very beginning, the heart of the band has been its leader, vocalist, and guitarist Emīls Dreiblats, the author of the music and lyrics for most of the songs. Willow Farm’s sound has always embraced a wide range of stylistic moods—from alternative rock to the singer-songwriter tradition—while in recent years increasingly taking on the aesthetics of indie rock. The band’s sixth album, “There Will Be No Tomorrow Today” (Šodien nebūs rīt), released in spring 2025, confirms their creative restlessness and desire to keep searching for new forms of expression.
The concert program “About One Spring” promises an acoustic, atmosphere-rich evening—featuring both intimate, subdued song versions and more energetic moments powered by indie rock drive. Songs from all Willow Farm albums will be performed, including some that have been heard only rarely at concerts in recent years.
This will be a concert for everyone who listens closely to words, melodies, and moments of silence, and who values music with meaning and authenticity.
