Grandbrothers, a world-renowned and beloved tandem of musicians, are releasing their fifth album and embarking on an extensive European tour, returning to their audiences with a new sound and an impressive show, which we can experience at the Liepāja Great Amber Concert Hall.
Grandbrothers are jazz pianist Erol Sarp and synthesizer constructor & software specialist Lukas Vogel. They are both musicians and sound designers who can make a good old grand piano produce sounds hitherto unheard. Their musical language is classical, appealing, distinctly rhythmic and straightforward, but its illusive simplicity conceals an impressive architecture – the grand piano is equipped with intricate devices that can make any component of the instrument a source of sound.
