The festival week is expected as the 20th century reflection in the history of Liepāja from the Peter’s Market perspective. The market pavilion will be abundantly decorated with scented greenery, plenty of branches and hundreds of pennants. Visitors will see historical photographs from the past century, appraise a 100-year-old chocolate-cake recipe and learn an ice-coffee recipe back from 1932. The Peter’ s Days welcome general public for a dialog about the architectural value of Peter’ s Market, the development of the old town, festivals and shopping culture in the past, modern time and in the future.
