DESCRIPTION:<p>The New Media Culture Centre RIX-C\, in partnership with
the Immersive Art Space (IASpace) at Zurich University of the Arts\,
presents an ambitious extended reality (XR) art programme. Audiences
are invited to explore how immersive technologies reshape art into a
fully spatial experience – spanning virtual reality\, artificial int
elligence and the spatial visualisation of scientific data – where re
ality is not just represented but directly encountered.</p>\n\n<p>The
programme will operate as an “Open Lab”\, bringing artists\, scienti
sts and technology innovators into active dialogue with the public. T
ogether\, they will address environmental and climate realities\, AI
technologies and cosmic perspectives\, encouraging audiences to sense
\, reflect and reconsider their relationship with the world.</p>\n\n<
p>The conceptual foundation of the programme grows out of RIX-C’s lon
g-term practice – from the landmark Acoustic Space Lab symposium at t
he Irbene radio telescope 25 years ago to the recent immersive artwor
k Deep Sensing\, where environmental data interacts with cosmic signa
ls to expand our understanding of reality. At its core are the experi
mental\, interactive approaches developed by the Swiss Immersive Art
Space\, in which visitors become active participants\, testing the li
mits of perception through their senses and physical presence.</p>\n\
