Exhibition "Life Stories Behind the Soviet Terror" was created in to commemorate the people whose lives were sacrificed when the Soviet times begun in Latvia. The exhibition also honors the people who were brave enough to take their stand against the Soviet regime.
The exhibition is located on the first floor of the museum, and tells the history of the events starting from the year 1939 until the beginning of Latvian National Awakening in 1980s. The exhibition was created in the cooperation with The Museum of the Occupation of Latvia.
Liepāja Museum received a special gift for this exhibition from The Museum of the Occupation of Latvia - train wagon model that is the type of wagon Soviet authorities used for the mass deportations to Siberia.
